Everwood Studios Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Everwood Studios. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and obligations.

 

Custom Orders
Due to the personalized nature of custom furniture, all custom orders are non-refundable once production has commenced. Production begins upon receipt of your order and the required deposit. All custom details and requests must be finalized before placing your order. If necessary details are not provided before production begins, we reserve the right to cancel the order without refund.

 

Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total purchase price is required to confirm your order. The remaining balance is due upon project completion and prior to delivery or pickup.

 

Production Timeline
We strive to adhere to the estimated timeline provided at the time of your order. However, prompt communication from customers is essential to avoid delays. Any modifications requested after production has begun may incur additional charges and could extend the delivery schedule.

 

Shipping and Pickup
Delivery is available for an additional fee. Customers may also arrange their own pickup. Customers must inspect their furniture upon delivery and pickup. Any damages caused during delivery must be reported within 48 hours. Failure to report within this timeframe will be considered acceptance of the item in its delivered condition. If a repair or replacement is needed due to delivery-related damage, customers must bring the item back to our location at their own expense. Everwood Studios is not responsible for retrieving damaged items. Orders must be picked up within 7 days of completion. Failure to do so may result in storage fees or order cancellation without refund.

 

Material Characteristics
Wood is a natural material and may expand, contract, or shift due to temperature and humidity changes. This is a normal process and not considered a defect. We recommend allowing your furniture to adjust to your home’s environment before heavy use.

 

Warranty and Liability
Everwood Studios does not provide warranties beyond what is explicitly stated in writing. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Once the furniture is in your home, we are not responsible for damages, cracks, splits, or other changes due to environmental factors or misuse. Customers are responsible for proper maintenance and care of their furniture. Care instructions can be provided.

 

Communication Expectations
Effective and prompt communication is required to ensure adherence to production and delivery schedules. Delays in providing necessary information or approvals may result in adjusted timelines and additional fees.

 

Additional Charges
Requests for changes after order confirmation may incur additional costs. Uncollected items beyond the agreed pickup date may be subject to storage fees or disposal, with no refund of payments made. If a customer fails to pick up their item within the allotted time and no communication is made, Everwood Studios reserves the right to resell the item without refund.

 

Order Cancellations
Due to the nature of custom work, cancellations are only permitted within 48 hours of placing the order. After this period, deposits are non-refundable as production will have begun. If cancellation occurs after production begins, no refunds will be issued. If a customer requests significant changes too late into production, it may be considered a new order, and additional charges will apply.

 

Order Confirmation and Contact Information
Customers will receive an automatic email confirmation upon placing an order. Accurate contact details, including full name and email address, are required to process your order.

 

Fees and Charges
All transactions made through our website are subject to Wix payment processing fees, which are included in the total purchase at checkout. We do accept other payments such as; Venmo and PayPal. Additional handling fees may apply for special requests or expedited services, buyer protection fees. All transactions will receive a receipt either digitally or at pickup. 

 

Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order with Everwood Studios, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. For any questions or further clarification, please contact us. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, with both parties bearing their own costs. This helps prevent lengthy and costly litigation. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Everwood Studios operates. Customers agree to indemnify and hold Everwood Studios harmless from any claims arising from misuse or improper maintenance of the furniture. Except as expressly stated, Everwood Studios makes no guarantees or promises regarding the longevity or performance of the furniture beyond reasonable expectations for solid wood furniture.
